The “Circolo Golf degli Ulivi” is a true gem, designed by Peter Gannon and inaugurated in 1932. It has 18 holes and is nestled amidst olive and mimosa trees on the hill above Sanremo with a lovely sea view. The course is not overly long, but challenging and insidious, with narrow holeswhich require considerable technical ability and precision.

It has always hosted important tournaments, from the Open d’Italia in the 1930’s and 1940’s, the Master of the 1980’s, to the European Senior Tour of 2004 and the Italian Championship P.G.A. 2005, 2006 and 2007.
